Report of the Nominating Committee and Notice of Annual Meeting

Daniel E. Lynch, Chair of the Nominating Committee, has reported to the President the following list of nominees recommended by the Committee for the respective positions to be filled at the Association’s Annual Meeting on April 22, 2021:


R. Braxton Hill IV, President-Elect

Due to the unexpected recent death of John Anderson, current President-Elect, the Committee requested that current President, T. O’Connor Johnson, serve an additional term as President. Daniel E. Lynch will continue to serve as Immediate Past President.

While the in-person Spring Cocktail Party has been canceled due to the pandemic, we will still host a party in conjunction with the Bar’s Virtual Annual Meeting!

Learn how to make signature cocktails with Beth Dixon of Salt and Acid (or relax with your own beverage of choice!)

Beth has been in the restaurant industry for over 19 years. She has tended and managed the bars at several of Richmond’s iconic restaurants including Can Can Brasserie, Pasture and Perch. She currently tends bar at L’Opossum and has recently started a new venture, Salt and Acid, which specializes in private bartending classes, virtual happy hours, restaurant consulting and wedding/special events.
