Join the Richmond Bar Now and Don’t Pay Until June 1st!

New members joining late in the current Bar year can take advantage of a new policy that allows for a grace period whereby they can join on or after February 1st, but not pay dues until June 1st at the start of the new Bar year, which runs from June 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022. During this four-month dues-free period new members will be added to our mailing list, receive notifications about events and attend events at the member rate during the grace period. To take advantage of this just simply fill out the membership application and email it to Sharon Potter at You will be billed on June 1st for the application fee. Membership in the Richmond Bar Association is open to attorneys who are admitted to practice in the bar of a state, territory, or possession of the United States (click here for membership types). The association also offers a non-voting membership to law students. The application fee of $105 (active practitioner/new member) and $10 (law student) covers membership dues for the bar year June 1, 2021 – May 31, 2022. Section dues are additional.
