Consumer Protection Litigation and Bankruptcy: Intersections and Collisions

 
The CLE will provide an overview of causes of action related to consumer financial services, including an examination of the interplay between applicable statutes and Bankruptcy Code. Statues covered will include the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act (“FDCPA”), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”). the Electronic Fund Transfer Act (“EFTA”) and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”).
 
Date: Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Location: 2nd Floor Conference Room, 707 East Main Street
Cost:  $75 for members ($85 after October 17)
$150 for non-members ($160 After October 17)
