Litigation Section & Young Lawyers Section to co-host CLE program on October 14, 2015
The Litigation Section and the Young Lawyers Section will co-sponsor a luncheon program addressing effective witness examinations. The seminar, entitled “Witness Examination in Deposition and at Trial” will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. at WilliamsMullen (200 S. 10th Street, Richmond, VA). Lunch will be provided. The panelists will provide tips and best practices for questioning witnesses in deposition and at trial, focusing on direct and cross examination, experts, preparation, and dealing with hostile witnesses and objections from opposing counsel. It is anticipated that this program will be approved for 1.0 hour of VA MCLE credit.
Cost to attend is $25 for YLS and LS members and $45 for non-Section members. Reservations must be received by Friday, October 9, 2015. No refunds will be issued after October 9th.
