Environmental & Energy Law Section

The Environmental and Energy Law Section brings together those attorneys with a common interest in safeguarding environmental quality and promoting the practice of environmental law. Membership offers a variety of continuing education and social opportunities. Section annual dues are $25 in addition to being a member of the Richmond Bar Association.  JOIN

 

CLE Seminar and Annual Meeting – Wednesday, May 3, 2017

The Environmental & Energy Law Section will host a CLE seminar and breakfast in conjunction with its Annual Meeting on Wednesday, May 3, 2017  at Troutman Sanders LLP (1001 Haxall Point, 15th Floor, Richmond, VA 23219).

The schedule is as follows:
8:30 a.m. Breakfast and a brief business meeting
8:45 – 9:15 a.m. – “Industrial Stormwater General Permits and the Nutrient General Permits”
Speaker:  Matthew Richardson of the VA Department of Environmental Quality
It is anticipated that this program will be approved by the Virginia MCLE Board for 0.5 hour of MCLE credit
9:15 – 9:45 a.m. – “Clean Energy Issues in the Trump Administration”
Speaker: Professor Joel B. Eisen of the University of Richmond School of Law
It is anticipated that this program will be approved by the Virginia MCLE Board for 0.5 hour of MCLE credit

Cost to attend is $15 for EELS Section members and $25 for all others.
