Join the Richmond Bar

Membership in the Richmond Bar Association is open to attorneys who are admitted to practice in the bar of a state, territory, or possession of the United States (click here for membership types). The association also offers a non-voting membership to law students. *The application fee of $90 covers membership dues for the bar year June 1, 2017 – May 31, 2018. ***Grace Period

**If you wish to rejoin the bar after being inactive, please contact the bar office for applicable dues.

***NOTE: New members joining late in the current Bar year can take advantage of a new policy that allows for a grace period whereby they can join on or after March 1st, but not pay dues until June 1st at the start of the new Bar year. During this three-month dues-free period, new members will be added to our mailing list, receive notifications about events and attend events at the member rate during the grace period.
