Membership in the Bankruptcy Section of the Richmond Bar provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and practices among attorneys specializing in bankruptcy law. This is accomplished through a variety of continuing legal education and social functions. Annual section dues are $25.

September Luncheon

Join your colleagues at the Section's luncheon meeting at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Marriott Hotel, 500 E. Broad Street. The luncheon will feature a CLE presentation by the Hon. Douglas O. Tice, Jr., Chief Judge, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia It is anticipated the program will be approved for 1.0 hour of MCLE credit.

Cost to attend is $30. To register, mail your check payable to the Richmond Bar Association, P. O. Box 1213, Richmond, VA 23218.

October Luncheon

The October luncheon will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 501 E. Broad Street. Professor David Epstein of the University of Richmond will be the guest speaker. Additional details will be posted soon.
