Membership
in the Bankruptcy Section of the Richmond Bar provides
a forum for the exchange of ideas and practices among
attorneys specializing in bankruptcy law. This is accomplished
through a variety of continuing legal education and
social functions. Annual section dues are $25.
Announcements
Annual Meeting
The Section will host is Annual Meeting/Luncheon/CLE
Seminar from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May
16, 2013 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 501 E. Broad Street.
The program will feature a presentation by the Honorable
Kevin
R. Huennekens, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, on the topic,
"Update on ABI Chapter 11 Commission/Advisory Committee
on Executory Contracts and Leases." It is anticipated
that the seminar will be approved for 1.0
MCLE credit.
The May luncheon will also serve as the Section's
Annual Meeting. The nominating committee will present
the following slate of officers for the 2013-2014
year:
